Human Performance & Well-Being

The Human Performance and Well-Being (HPWB) department collaborates with all curriculum areas at RDM to provide a comprehensive educational program for all students. Our unique contribution encourages students to develop physically fit bodies as well as alert and creative minds. Students will receive academic credit for both Health and Physical Education coursework.

The HBWB program promotes understanding of the ‘how and why’ of movement, develops skill and competency in movement activities, instills appreciation for the movement expression of self and others, and provides opportunities for maximum personal health and fitness. All of our staff members in HPWB work to create a safe, non-threatening, environment where students will be encouraged to take risks and set challenging but attainable goals.

If you have questions about specific course requirements and guidelines please contact your child’s teacher by selecting from the Staff Directory.
