Rules, Roles, and Responsibilities
Our administrative team works closely students so everyone understands the common expectations for schoolwide success. The Tardy Policy explains attendance consequences. Incoming Families Information
All incoming students who will be 7th graders for the 2017-2018 school year are welcome to review the school information that was presented by our administration and counseling team at our incoming parent nights on Mar. 2nd and 3rd. Additional information can be found in the Student Handbook.
Online Testing
You may review the Practice Tests for Math and English through the Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium portal.
Free Tutoring
Dependents of U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, National Guard, Reserves, Wounded Warriors and deployed DoD civilian families are eligible for free access to the Department of Defense online tutoring program with Tutor.com. Tutors are online 24/7, and you never need an appointment. Once you create an account you can log in any time at www.tutor.com/military or through the mobile app, Tutor.com to Go.
Canvas App for iPad
The Canvas app is available to all students using an SUHSD iPad. Please check the presentation by Ms. Walker and note that not all teachers will be posting assignments and grades via Canvas. An online help page can be found here.

COX Communications
Parents with students who are on a free or reduced lunch program may be eligible for a great program from Cox Communications. Families applying for this program must not been a Cox customer in the last 90 days or have any outstanding debt with Cox. This is a 2 year program allowing families with at least one child receiving free lunch to have Internet access at home for 9.95/month.
