Math Placement Assessment for Compacted Integrated Math

Rancho del Rey Middle School would like to invite incoming 7th grade students who are interested in taking the Compacted Integrated Math 7 course (an upper level math course) to sign up for the Math Placement Assessment. Exceptionally strong Math performance in 6th grade may indicate that your student is ready to enroll in the Compacted Math Course. The Compacted Math course covers Integrated Math 7, Math 8, and Course I.  Students are responsible for learning all three courses in a two year program.

A completed and passing score on the Math Placement Assessment is required in order for your student to be enrolled in the Compacted Integrated Math 7 course. Please know that your child is not required to take the assessment or enroll in the Compacted Integrated Math 7 course. If you would like to pursue the option of an assessment for your student, please sign up for one of the three dates below.  Students must be signed up to take the test. You may sign up for the assessment by going to the following link: https://tinyurl.com/ma2wkaf

You will be assigned a confirmation number – please bring this number with you the day your child takes the test.

Students will have 90 minutes to take the assessment. Results will be available by the first week in June. If you have any questions, please call our Counseling Center Secretary at 397-2519 or via email at Claudia.ortiz@sweetwaterschools.org
