Student Registration Information

New Student Registration For The 2020-2021 School Year

Dear parents and guardians I hope you and your family are doing well.

As we begin the last quarter of the school year, I would like to provide you important information about the registration process for your incoming 7th grade student. For the Sweetwater Union High School District all student registration is completed online.

Parents will receive a letter from the Sweetwater Union High School district beginning the week of Monday, May 11th, that includes directions on how to complete the online registration process. You will also receive a unique activation key and a username to create a Campus Portal account so that you may register your incoming 7th grade student online. Submission of the documents verifying residency will be scheduled at a date to be determined once the stay at home orders have been lifted by the state and local authorities.

If you wish to check if your home resides in the Rancho Del Rey Middle School boundaries please go to our school website and select the tab “Find My School” at the top of the page.

If you do not reside in the Rancho Del Rey Middle School boundaries it is important that you register your child at their corresponding school. If you have any questions about the transfer process, please contact the Student Service office at 619) 691-5564.

Please note that student’s immunizations must be current and the shot record will need to be submitted to the school prior to the first day of school as no student will be able to attend class without the required vaccinations. All students must be up to date with all required vaccinations including Varicella (Chicken Pox) – 2 doses and the Whooping Cough vaccination (Tdap).

Parents whose child has a documented health/medical exemption will need to submit a doctor’s note as part of the immunization verification. For immunization or student health related questions you may contact our school nurse Ms. Michelle Bell at or leave a voicemail at 619) 397-2512.

To complete the registration and more…

To complete the OLR, follow these steps:
1. Use your computer, not mobile device
2. Go to Infinite Campus Parent Portal  
3. Enter your account information:

  • If you have an account, you have received an email and a letter with your Username and instructions on how to reset your password if you need to.
  • If you don’t already have an account, you will receive an online registration letter mailed the week of 4/20/20 with your Campus Portal Activation Key and instructions on how to create an account.

4. Click “More” in the menu on the bottom left of the screen

5. Click “Online Registration” at the bottom and follow the instructions to complete your Online Registration

6. Click “Begin Registration” at the bottom of the page

7. “Success” Screen

All remaining registration documents (Residency Affidavit, Emergency Card, Health Card, 7th grade immunizations, etc.) will be collected at a later date to finalize your registration.

  3. Click “Forgot my password?” link and follow prompts
